Getting started

The full journey, end to end:

Buy your plan

Choose monthly, yearly or lifetime on the checkout page. Your license key is emailed to the checkout address within minutes.

Download and install

Get the macOS app from the download page, drag it to Applications and open it.

Create your account and activate

Sign up inside the app with the same email you used at checkout, confirm the email, then paste your license key once. It binds to your account and unlocks the app.

Connect your iPhone

Plug in over USB and pick your iPhone for keyboard and mouse control. For cable-free video, start the AirPlay receiver and select your Mac from Screen Mirroring on the iPhone.

Connecting over USB (recommended)

  • Use a data-capable cable because many cheap cables only charge. Apple's own cables always work.
  • Unlock the iPhone the first time and tap "Trust This Computer" when asked.
  • USB gives the lowest latency and most stable session, and the phone charges while you work.

Wireless mirroring with AirPlay

  • Start the AirPlay receiver in IphoneMirrorSolution, then open Control Centre → Screen Mirroring on the iPhone and select your Mac.
  • Both devices must be on the same network. Guest networks, VPNs and network isolation features can block AirPlay discovery.
  • AirPlay mirrors video wirelessly; use USB when you need keyboard, mouse or trackpad control.
  • For long sessions, keep the phone on a charger because mirroring uses more battery than idle.

Keyboard, mouse and trackpad control

  • Click anywhere on the mirrored screen to tap. Click and drag to swipe.
  • Scroll with your trackpad or mouse wheel exactly like a native Mac window.
  • Type into any iPhone field with your Mac keyboard. It is perfect for long messages, codes and forms.
